Which was held under the supervision of the association, in a ceremony attended by the Ambassador of Japan, H.E. Takeshi Okubo, President of the Educational District, Muhammad Al-Homsi, School Principal Ghadir Ghaziri, her principals and members of the educational staff, President of the Association “Momken,” Ghada Feghali, and representatives of LEBA_JICA Eng. Kamal Mokdad and Ms. Hanan Abi Ghanem, and the parent association “JICA”.
After announcing the names of the winning students and distributing the prizes, representatives of the LEBA_JICA Association explained that "Artistic and cultural activities are held annually with public schools and their friends, including the drawing competition, to strengthen the relationship between Lebanon and Japan." They pointed out that "the association was established in Lebanon in 1998 by members trained in Japan, by employees in the public sector, and the National Agency for International Cooperation (JICA), which has activities in several Arab countries."
For her part, the school's principal, Ghaziri, thanked the Embassy of Japan and the LEBA_JICA Association for "this cultural and artistic activity that brings people together and their cultures closer."
In turn, the Japanese ambassador praised the efforts of the school, its administration, the teaching staff and the students.
At the end of the ceremony, a Lebanese breakfast was held in honor of the Japanese Ambassador, the embassy staff, and the LEBA_JICA Association.
